ROPE INSTALLATION

Japanese restaurant Haii Keii is inspired by the neon-drenched streets of Blade Runner and the striking intensity of Kill Bill. In collaboration with Gin Design Group, FIBROUS installed various lengths of elegant custom-made satin red rope around each banquette. Hanging from custom steel panels by objektfab, the rope falls in both straight and curved patterns inside each booth and extends down to the top of each banquette along the perimeters to create a partition among guests.
