Absolutely. I love collaborating with collectors to bring custom works to life. Most residential projects have a 1–3 month turnaround, but can vary depending on scale and complexity. Once the design is approved, a 50% deposit secures your project, with the remainder due upon delivery. To start the conversation, submit an inquiry here.

Yes! I work regularly with art curators. FIBROUS always provides net artist rates, meaning the quoted price reflects what the artist receives. Curators are welcome to add their commission on top, with the assurance that each piece is uniquely created and exclusively available through our agreement. Submit an inquiry here.

Yes, we handle all commercial fire safety requirements using NFPA 701 treatment with full documentation and certificates for building code compliance. Please note, this treatment can add up to 4 weeks to production time but not all fibers require treatment to be code compliant. To learn more, visit our process page or submit an inquiry here.

Large-scale installations are priced based on design expertise, materials & sourcing, and specialized installation labor. Detailed estimates are provided after our discovery call. Every estimate breaks down services, materials, and labor so you know exactly where your money is going. No mysterious line items or hidden fees halfway through the project. We use wide range of materials for custom projects and installations, but generally specialize in rope and natural fibers. Whether your project is indoor, outdoor, high traffic, or UV exposed, quality material recommendations will always be catered to suit your project needs. Many of these offerings can also be fire treated to meet NFPA 701 commercial regulations.

Yes! FIBROUS offers live weaving activations for conventions, gatherings, and other corporate events. These on-site demonstrations allow attendees to observe or participate in the weaving process under guided instruction and the finished piece is retained by the client as a unique, collaborative artifact from the event. Yes! Both Domestic and International shipping options are available at checkout.

Not to worry! Doodles usually have a 4-6 week turnaround time due to our production schedule. But if you’re in a bind, there's a RUSH option available at checkout. For +$50/ea, you can get bumped to the top of the queue and have your handmade piece delivered from start to finish in 5-10 business days.

This option is available to all domestic customers and can be found on the product page for all Doodles (small, medium, and large).

FIBROUS is currently only online, with occasional pop-ups throughout the year where you can shop in person. — typically announced here, in the newsletter, and on instagram.

While FIBROUS does not have a brick and mortar shop, we can still arrange local pickup M-F upon request. To make arrangements within the Austin area, please email hello@fibrous.co with your order number and availability.

If I have not heard from you by the time your order is ready, it will be shipped and you will receive a confirmation email with tracking info when it is in transit.

Brace yourselves because I recorded this lesson many moons ago, but 1000+ students have given it positive feedback by now, so I’m happy to report it’s not totally cringe (just a little bit).

This is a tough question, for which I don’t have a permanent answer. All I know is that in 2019 alone, I made over 1,250 pairs of earrings, 200 bracelets, and 175 necklaces — not including all the prototypes and oops pieces. So in 2020, I decided it was time for a break.

Sometimes old friends come back around though. We’ll see what happens. Either way, thanks for wearing your “vintage” FIBROUS :)
